SPECS is a locally owned optometrist on High St, Northcote. Born out of love for the finer details, we carry a unique collection of eye wear sourced from small independent designers around the world. Selected for their thoughtful design, craft and materials, we focus on pieces that strike the perfect balance between function and form.

Optometrists at heart, we also provide comprehensive eye testing and offer the latest imaging technology to monitor your eyes for conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Keeping you looking good and seeing well is our priority.

MEET YOUR OPTOMETRIST
Dr Bethany de Jong
Bethany brings over a decade of experience in clinical practice across Melbourne and regional Victoria, as well as internationally in New York and Chennai. She has a postgraduate Doctor of Optometry from the University of Melbourne and is a prescriber of ocular medicines.
Bethany has special interests in dry eye, contact lenses and children's vision and is currently completing advanced studies in children's vision through the Australian College of Optometry. When she is not consulting, she can be seen wandering up High St looking for the best coffee and sweet treats.

John Nguyen
John is also an optical guru, with over 12 years experience in the industry he brings a wealth of knowledge in optical dispensing.
